A brief history of the Union Pacific Kenosha Subdivision:

06/26/21

Of the three bridges in the sketchier part of Milwaukee which cross National Avenue, this is probably the dullest.
This bridge is a simple 4 span concrete slab with very little features of decoration. The piers and slab design indicate an early art deco/pre depression design.
The bridge contains pipe railings, a feature which appears to be new, as does the north abutment.
The photo above is an overview. The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
